Day 2

Today, I had my first taste of Plexus Slim. I liked it. At first, it was too fruity (I have a thing with fruit). Next time, I'll make it a little weeker by adding more water.

I am happy that I can drink a product that doesn't taste horrible. It's not a meal replacement so I'm not giving up food. Instead, I simply mix a packet of Plexus Slim with water and drink it. How hard is that!!

I look so excited!!



Day 1

Yesterday was the first day of my Plexus journey. I waited, impatiently, for my package to arrive in the mail. I was giddy when the mail finally arrived and with it my order.
Like a kid opening his Christmas present, I ripped into the box. Inside was my Tri-Plex order...Plexus Slim, Bio Cleanse, and ProBio5.
Plexus Slim, which I'll start today, should help me keep my blood sugar, cholesterol, and lipids at healthy levels. Plus, it should help me lose weight...added bonus!!
I took my first dose of ProBio5 and Bio Cleanse last night before going to bed. My husband also took a dose of each.
ProBio5 should help me keep a healthy digestive and immune system. Bio Cleanse should help keep my gastro-intestinal tract on track.
I am confident that the Plexus Tri-Plex will help me live a healthier life. I'm looking forward to seeing results and I look forward to sharing my journey with my friends and family.
On to day two!!

A New Frontier

Well, my family and I have moved and we're settling into our place. Before long my husband and I will be planting a garden in hopes of storing some up for the winter. I'm excited to see what will grow in this cooler climate.
I'm still reading my Trim Healthy Mama Plan book and hope to switch to the healthier lifestyle ASAP.
However, a friend of mine has been sharing her Plexus journey on Facebook and I decided to give it a whirl. I watched videos, read information on Plexus, and decided that it was right for me. So with my friend, Ashley's help, I signed up to become an ambassador.
My welcome pack should be coming in a day or two. SO EXCITED!!! I plan to share my Plexus journey and I hope that my story will encourage others to join me.
So for the next three months, I will put my THM plans on hold and concentrate solely on Plexus. I will be drinking the Plexus Slim in the morning and taking probiotic and detox pills in the evening. And I will document my journey along the way.

Becoming a Trim Healthy Mama

Hi, my name is Martha and I'm an overweight, foodaholic. As a wife and mother, I have so much to be healthy for. Now that we're planning on having another baby this year, I need to start trimming down. That is so hard to do because I love food.
Over the weekend, I finally decided to follow the Trim Healthy Mama Plan so I bought the book. I'm slowly digesting all the information I'm learning and I'm excited about preparing healthy meals for my family. 
The best part is that I'll have a great support system once I'm following the plan. My in-laws are following the plan as well. My sister-in-law even has a baking blend recipe to share with us. I look forward to baking without wheat flour!
I have also decided to start using Stevia for a sweetener. I plan to mix it with regular sugar for now and slowly cut back on using sugar. I will have to come up with a nice blend for baking though.
I'm excited about this new phase in my life. THIS IS NOT A DIET. IT IS A PLAN. I will be eating fats. I will be eating carbs. I will be eating sweet desserts. I will just learn to eat certain food groups together so that they balance each other out.
This blog will document my journey. My journey as an overweight woman to a trim, healthy, mama. This journey won't happen overnight and it won't be without its speed bumps. But I'll make it to the finish line. Hope to see you all there...cheering me on to victory.
